Solid Paraffin

Also known as Paraffin Wax, solid paraffin is a saturated, white, and odorless hydrocarbon compound obtained through the refining process of crude oil. This substance is solid at room temperature and is classified for various applications based on its variable melting point (typically between 46–65°C) and different oil contents. Its key properties include high chemical stability, insolubility in water, and excellent insulation against moisture and electricity. Thanks to these features, solid paraffin has broad and strategic uses across industries such as candle manufacturing (for clean burning), textiles (as a lubricant for yarn), packaging (for producing waterproof paper and cardboard), wood (to increase moisture resistance of MDF), and cosmetics and personal care (to adjust the texture of creams and lotions)
