Foots Oil

Technically known as “Residue Wax” (Kalıntı Vaks), Foots Oil is a valuable by-product obtained from Slack Wax raw material during the production of solid paraffin. This substance is the oil separated during the “de-oiling” process of wax, and due to its high oil content (typically between 30% and 50%), it appears as a liquid or semi-solid at room temperature with a color ranging from yellow to light brown. Thanks to its high viscosity and excellent adhesive properties, Foots Oil is used as a softening agent in industries such as rubber and tire manufacturing, shoe soles, plastics, industrial wax production, and leather processing.
